NY KNICKS TRIP
2008 JOY BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Dear Parents, Coaches, and Community Representatives
Part of the mission statement for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocesan J.O.Y. League is to provide an avenue for the Greek Orthodox children within the Archdiocesan District to interact, get to know each other, and maintain their friendships as they become responsible adults.
This year the league has planned a
trip to
The cost of the tickets will be $40. Along with the ticket every child will receive a Walt Clyde Frazier jersey.
To make up for the mix-up that
occurred during last years planned Knicks game,
· A food voucher will be given free of charge to everyone who purchases a ticket to the game. The voucher has a retail value of $13 and includes a hot dog, soda and chips.
Also our league will also participate in the following pre-game ceremonies
Visitors Fan Tunnel- 10 members from the group form a fan tunnel on The Garden court for the Raptors to run through as they first enter the court for pre-game warm-ups!!! Ages 7-12
CO-Captain of the game- one group member to be honored on center court and take a photo with a Knicks player Ages 7-12!
Starting Five- Five kids will stand on-court during lights-out as the Knicks starting five are introduced to the starting crowd (Only 12-13 year olds)
Information on how the league will select the children to participate in the pre-game ceremonies will be posted on web site in the next few days.

Tickets will be distributed prior to the event. Please note, your community will advise you about transportation to MSG, if any, it will provide.
